Paycom Gives $15,000 to Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 12, 2021) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, donated $15,000 to Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma to support programs that help people overcome challenges to employment.

In 2020, Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma served 836 individuals through its in-person training and employment services. The nonprofit organization also provided virtual training to more than 12,000 people and served 500 veterans.

“Paycom’s generous donation to Goodwill came at just the right time,” said Jim Priest, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma Inc. “2020 was a very tough year for us with both COVID-19 and ice storms challenging our ability to fulfill Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through the power of work. Thanks to Paycom’s contribution, we are able to find creative ways to provide virtual and in-person services in new ways while continuing to provide much-needed services to the community.”

Goodwill provides employment assistance with services such as job and computer training and jobs at its retail and donation centers. It also offers temporary supportive services for low-income veteran families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

“Paycom continues to see the impact Goodwill has made through its job assistance,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs. “Whether it’s providing critical job training or employment opportunities, Goodwill is a key resource for so many people. It’s an organization Paycom and its employees are proud to partner with.”

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma operates 25 retail stores, 17 donation centers and one job connection center in the Oklahoma City metro area.
