OKLAHOMA CITY (July 27, 2023) – Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, recently donated $40,000 to PADI AWARE Foundation, a nonprofit that works to address key ocean threats like marine habitat loss and vulnerable species protection while promoting global ocean conservation.
“For the sixth year in a row, our team members are supporting PADI AWARE, an organization doing significant work to improve our planet’s marine environments,” said Tara Steffens, team leader of corporate philanthropy programs at Paycom. “Our Paycom community acts locally, thinks globally and understands the importance of supporting conservation efforts like these.”
PADI AWARE Foundation drives local action for global ocean conservation through educational programs, establishing policies that protect vulnerable marine life and contributing to groundbreaking science on marine debris. After more than 30 years of operation, PADI AWARE has removed over 2 million pieces of debris from the ocean and helped secure protections for more than 100 vulnerable shark species.

The donation is made possible through Paycom’s ongoing employee giving campaign that engages team members with opportunities to give to local and national causes. Team members may also donate their time through various volunteer activities — including community cleanup projects — throughout the year.
